The food is great. The pie selection is equated with a good wine list and the ones I've tried are delicious. The staff is always friendly and seem to remind me of a 50s diner (though I've never been in a diner in the 50s because I was born in the 80s). All I know is my eggs were perfect, and that is unusual in a restaurant.
Took our grandkids to Village Inn for dinner but we had breakfast instead. The manager and the waitress were very nice. I ordered spinach and bacon omelet. The waitress was quick at serving us. The food was brought out to us in a timely manner.
Went here for Father's day. We had 11 people, so I figured service would take a little while; however, half of the table received their food first while the other half had to wait another 20 minutes and as soon as the other half received their food, the waitress brought around the checks. She didn't ask if anyone wanted dessert and she didn't come back around for refills. Nor did she come back to ask if we needed anything. The food was overcooked for me but other family liked theirs. Personally, I would not go back here again.
Food is as to be expected. Good selection. Service is top notch. April is courteous and attentive. Would recommend her section every time!
Got there, was asked if we wanted a booth or table by the host and we replied booth but then there wasnt any booths cleaned. Was seated and waited 20 minutes before a server named Donna asked if anyone has waited on us yet. We told her nope and so even though we weren't in her section she waited on us. Took our orders and got our drinks super quick and apologized over and over throughout the night. She seemed to be the only one doing her job and helping serve every single table there because I rarely saw any of the other servers around or rushing to greet new tables. Honestly if it wasnt for Donna, I'd say never eat here because the service is terrible. Ask for Donna if you ever go and she will definitely make it worth your time! SHE NEEDS A RAISE.
