Victory Christian Academy’s 2025 Victory 5K will be held on Saturday, April 26. Presented by Baron’s Pharmacy, this run/walk is a family-friendly, community event that is also a certified and sanctioned USATF race. The annual weekend activities also include a pasta feed and a free kids’ run. Check out the photos from the 2024 race, and plan to participate in 2025!
VCA aspires to make a positive impact on our community. As part of this mission, VCA has once again committed to donating a percentage of race proceeds to Project Care Free Clinic in Hibbing. Project Care provides free, basic health care services to those who are underinsured or uninsured in our area.
Both Project Care and VCA are 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations aimed at serving well those who walk through their doors. By teaming up to organize and run this 5K event, both organizations can be better equipped financially to serve.
The Victory 5K race will provide chip timing, and each participant registered by Friday, April 11 will be guaranteed a customized bib, shirt, and medal. There are multiple awards for individual and team racers, so please look through the registration information carefully.

The awards in the individual competition will be presented as follows:
Top male runner
Top female runner
Top three male and female runners in each age division: 0-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+
Top three male walkers
Top three female walkers
Top three in wheelchair division
Awards for pre-registered teams:
Best Name Award – Receive the award for the most unique, creative, and inspiring name! VCA staff & students will vote on the most creative and entertaining name. Final team names must be submitted by Friday, April 18 via email.
Spirit Award – Receive the spirit award for being the team that demonstrates the most enthusiasm, energy, and sportsmanship! Race volunteers will vote for the team displaying the most fun on race day.
Largest Team Award – The team with the most members completing the race will receive the largest team award.
Best Dressed Award – The team with the best coordinating outfit or equipment will receive the best dressed award. Race volunteers will vote for the award on race day.
Largest Age Range – The team that has the greatest difference between the oldest and youngest team participant will receive this award.
Most Inspiring – Receive the award for the most inspiring team! Send us your story by Friday, April 18 via email.
Free Kids Fun Run
Kids 10 and under will complete a fun loop around the school grounds to introduce them to the love of running.
All participants will receive a finisher’s treat.
