5K Course: Head south from the park to Shepard Lane, head west to 1500 West, follow 1500 West around when it turns into 1800 North, a right on 1075 West, down the hill, past the start line, right on Oakridge Park Drive, enter the park on the west side, do a loop and finish on the grass.
1K Course: Start on the north side of the park on the paved path, do one and a quarter loop and finish on the grass. As a parent, you can see your child run the entire course. As a parent, if you would like to run the race with your child, you are certainly welcome to do so. You don't have to register yourself for the 1K, just your child. It's all contained within the park. All kids who participate in the 1K Race will receive a prize.
