Join us on August 24 at 8:30 a.m. for the Triple Dam 10K. The event starts and finishes at the Power Dam Recreation Area off of Maple St. in Perkinsville, VT. The Triple Dam 10k is part of the Upper Valley Running Series and Western New Hampshire Trail Running Series.
This beautiful loop, on rolling terrain, starts at the old Perkinsville Power Dam on the Black River, runs downriver to North Springfield Reservoir Dam on a mix of grassy trails and dirt roads, crosses over the river, runs back upstream on more dirt roads and trails to just before Stoughton Pond Dam, crosses through the Black River, which will feel great in late-August humidity, and finishes back at the Power Dam, adjacent to the best swimming hole in the area.
