The Drift 13

Our entry-level race, the Drift 13, offers a beautiful 13-mile course along the Upper Green River.  This out-and-back course provides novice racers with the perfect opportunity to test their abilities and develop their skills on a challenging but manageable course.

103 miles of winter wonderland, with over 9,000 ft elevation loss/gain. Self-sufficiency is key, as there are no drop bags, pacers, or cell service along the way. Instead, you’ll navigate your way through varied conditions and temperatures, with check points

Event Schedule:

Friday March 8th

9:00 AM: The Drift 100 starts.

Saturday March 11th

Just more racing here.

Set up tent for The Drift 13 and 28 start and finish line.

Sunday March 10th

Don’t forget to change your clocks!!!

7:15 AM: Race check in and bib handout for the 13 and 28 starts.

8:00AM: The Drift 28 starts. Brief prerace meeting just before the start.

9:00 AM: The Drift 13 starts. Brief prerace meeting just before the start.

10:00 AM: The Drift 100 course closes.

5:00 PM: The Drift 13 and 28 courses close.

Directions to Race Start

From Pinedale:

Head North on highway 191 for about 5.5 miles. Then turn right on Highway 352 toward Cora. Stay on this highway for about 25 miles. Cross the cattle guard go through the first parking lot and park in the second parking lot. Please please park efficiently!!!!

To reach Kendall Valley lodge, turn left just before the cattle guard, cross over the Green River and follow the road to the lodge.
