Experience the beauty of the LA Arboretum’s stunning scenery as you run like a thoroughbred in the Derby Day 5K on April 6, 2024, in Arcadia. After the race, keep the excitement going with an epic post-race party, thrilling horse races, and two complimentary, ice-cold beers for those 21 and over! All participants receive a finisher’s medal, shirt, admission to Santa Anita Park’s annual Derby Day horse races, and more!

6:30 am – Race Day Registration & Packet Pick Up (Gate 3 / Start Line)
8:00 am – 5K Open Race (starts in waves)
8:20 am – 5K Walk
8:30 am – Expo Open! (Entertainment, Music, Food & Beer Garden)
9:00 am – Spring Carnival Opens!
9:45 am –Kids Furlong Races (7-12 Years)
10:05 am –Homestretch Dash (6 & Under)
10:00 am – Awards Ceremony
12-5:30 pm – Thoroughbred Racing
2:30 pm – $750,000 RUNHAPPY Santa Anita Derby!
