Step off is Monday, 27 May 2024. We will start at 1000, but try to be about 15 minutes prior for prep and to get stretched out.
Distance:
We will walk as a group (family and all) .5 miles up to Speed Way to get a snack and drink for the kids that accompany us and walk .5 miles back. This allows your legs to get stretched out and warmed up for the run. Then once we all arrive at the parking lot the kids and non running parents can stay and play at the park while we run.
We will run from the park, up to Lowe’s and see their Memorial Day tribute in the parking lot, go back up towards the Verizon entrance, take a right and go all the way to West Lincoln St. Run down ti the Sonic red light and go back to uo the hill to the square, meet the non runners at the square to circle it with family members and any non running individuals who wish to be a part of this, break back off to finish the run at the South Jackson Performing Arts Center and Mitchell Museum playground parking lot. Roughly 9 miles.
