5K Pumpkin Run and Munchkin Mile

Join us for a fun, no-pressure event celebrating fitness for all ages! Routes include trails in & around the Malone Rec Park - sure to be beautiful this time of year! Pumpkin Attire Is Encouraged!  Proceeds support Alice Hyde’s healthcare career programs.

5K Pumpkin Run - Open to adults and kids ages 5-13 accompanied by an adult

Registered participants crossing the 5K finish line receive a finisher's medal and are entered in prize drawings for $250, $100, $50 cash, and more.

Route begins at Kelly Pavilion (State St. side of the Malone rec park), and includes Scott Dr., College Ave., Huskie Lane and wooded trails.

The 5K Pumpkin Run is also open to ages 5-13 for $15. This age group must be accompanied by an adult. 

Munchkin Mile - Open to ages 10 and under

Registered Munchkin Mile participants receive a finisher medal, and a 17" x 14.5" nylon pumpkin drawstring backpack with stickers and glow sticks. 

Participants walk/run a paved path through a largely wooded area in and around the rec park (state street side of park). 

Volunteers will be along the route, but parents/guardians are encouraged to accompany munchkins andare responsible for unaccompanied runners.

After the run, Munchkins are invited to decorate a real pumpkin to take home.
