Slow to serve. So slow! I ordered a chicken wrap, after I ordered the salmon wrap and she came back 15 minutes later and said that they were out of salmon. (Totally understand, but maybe not make us wait 15 minutes) The chicken was dry. Very dry. Our server didn't come to check on our food or refill our water. (I wanted ranch for the chicken) I am not picky at all ever, this was sad. My husband found a fruit fly crawling all over his potato chips. (This was moments after the food was served) The people who came in after us were served before us. Good view though and nice environment.
We launched our boats just west of the restaurant and paddled over. Food was delicious-salads because my friend and I both try to be GF. Very flexible with the salad dressing because I am dairy free. Patio was awesome. Service was great. Can't wait to paddle there again
Sweet little place with views of the Gorge, and beautiful during the warmer months. The food is OK. The salmon wrap was a little too fishy. The french fries absolutely amazing. The salmon plate was cooked to perfection, and it came with vegetables and rice. The rice was possibly the worst I've had in my life (sticky and tasteless). Try the apple cider, delicious! The waiters were suuuuper nice. Recommended.
The food is just okay, and they're frequently out of stuff on the menu. The beer selection is pretty good. My personal favorite, though, is when they wait to tell you what they're out of when you try to order it. It feels like that happens about 25% of the time. I recommend sticking with the appetizers. Those always seem to be better executed than the main dishes, especially for the price. The fish and chips always has way too much breading (and is often still doughy inside). The elk burger (or is it buffalo 🐃?) is always dry (they should mix it with some fat or another fattier meat). The salmon entree is good, but the vegetables they serve with it just look and taste like they came out of a frozen vegetables bag from the grocery store. Meh. We come here because we're locals and, when you only have a handful of restaurants to choose from, sometimes it's nice to mix it up. Also, they have a great view of the Columbia from their deck, but the windbreak windows are rarely clean.
Nice deck for eating outside. Beer was good, wait staff very helpful. We may have missed it, but the pastrami sandwich had some kind is spicy condiment, and it wasn't the pepperjack cheese (we had asked to leave it out but it didn't work).
