We went here for my brothers graduation dinner. Loved the atmosphere, food was spectacular. They have great gluten free options here and wait staff know all about what can be modified as well. Place was packed yet food came quick and glasses were always kept full. Our waitress even apologized for an order that had came out wrong and they rushed it back and remade it within minutes. Excellent 5 stars
A really good dining experience. The ambiance and decor are pretty standard Italian, and the music they play is very unobtrusive which contributes nicely to the meal. The food is excellent and the portions are outrageous, with prices that really are extremely reasonable. A unique feature is the slow pacing of the meal which is part of the Amore experience.
I really wanted to love it because so many people say such amazing things but my asparagus ravioli (daily special) was just so so. To be honest if I wasn't told it was asparagus I would have thought it was just cheese ravioli. There wasn't any fresh asparagus to be found. The arancini were really great and the wine recommendation was very good.
Can't say enough good things. Home run on food and service. Every. Time. We. Go. One of the very best restaurants in grand rapids. The environment is quaint and humble, so don't expect to be wowed with a showy interior. After the first bite, you'll realize the care that goes into the food. Truly haven't had anything on the menu that didn't overdeliver. Quality for the money is outstanding as well.
I had the beet salad and shared the homemade spinach ravioli with vodka cream sauce and the eggplant/ ricotta cake dish with a friend. All of the dishes were quite delicious. The service is great!
