Alchemist Brewery Beer Pour and Film Discussion: 5:45pm

Grange Hall Cultural Center celebrates Vermont-made cinema with a screening of Nora Jacobson’s award-winning film “Letters of My Mother’s Early Lovers.” The Alchemist brewery will be on hand for a pouring of some of your favorite locally brewed beers before and after the film. Stick around after the film for a discussion after the film with Ms. Jacobson and local actors from the film; George Woodard and Rusty Dewees. In the film, a young woman explores her mother’s past and uncovers a secret at the heart of her family’s history. Based on an autobiographical memoir, the film suggests that the truth, no matter how painful, provides a path to redemption. This movie contains adult themes and language. Reserve your seats early by calling 802-244-4168 or emailing grangehallcc@gmail.com. Admission is by donation until the seats are filled. Wait list will take seats not claimed 15 minutes before start of the film. Co-sponsored by Grange Hall Cultural Center and The Alchemist.
