“Off the Beaten Path” trail race and fun run/walk will take place on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Jacob Krumm Nature Preserve, Jasper County Iowa; beginning at 9:00 a.m. (8:00-8:45 Registration at Ahrens Access). Runners will experience the tall grass prairie, woodlands, and maybe even some wildlife! In addition, grass surfaces will cushion the strides of each runner. Immediately following the events, runners will be treated with an ALL YOU CAN EAT pancake and sausage breakfast and a free single entry into the Fall Festival! Fall Festival is a conservation celebration of the changing seasons and will include hayrack rides, prairie maze, live music, face painting, bow shoot, pumpkin patch, inflatables, fresh pressed apple cider, popcorn, games, and giveaways! Proceeds from the trail race and fall fest will serve to benefit the natural resources and sustainability of Jasper County through the help of our non-profit group, Jasper Conservation Connection.
