The 21 represents the third 21st chromosome, and 21 kilometers is the approximate distance for a half marathon.
Events include a 21K (half marathon), a 21K 3-person relay, 7K run and 2.1K walk. New for 2017, the course will feature three loops through the streets of Clayton and U-City, with the start, finish and relay exchanges all taking place at Clayton High School.
